how do i help my student if they are failing?
The first step whenever a student is struggling is reaching out and contacting the teacher. You can find any teacher's email in Gradebook or on the school website by clicking here. When emailing the teacher, ask when they are available for tutoring, what's the teacher's retake policy, and what your child needs to do to improve their grade. how can i get volunteer hours?
Ms. Powell has all the information on service hours and is in charge of entering volunteer hours. All agreement forms/hours log sheets are available in the guidance office. The activities office may also have service opportunities. All hours need to be completely filled out, signed, and turned in with their agreement forms to Ms. Powell. One agreement form is required for each organization or site where you are volunteering. Please keep your original agreement forms as they are good throughout high school. As you wish to turn in hours copy the agreement form and turn in attached to the log hours. For printable forms click here. We are working our district to update the process for acquiring Bright Futures hours through working.
